Vista Ridge Vineyard

The Church of the 2nd Chance

Church was never meant to be boring, tedious, menial, meaningless or unpleasant! At the Vista Ridge Vineyard we strive to be a place that's real, exciting and connected to God.

The VRV is a community where practical messages are taught, upbeat music sets the tone for the worship experience, fun children's classes set a solid foundation and a caring community shares this journey of LIFE!

At the VRV you can experience God's awesome love and mercy - the way life was intended!

Our Corporate Worship Service

Our weekly worship service is every Sunday morning from 10:00 AM until approximately 11:45 AM. Please feel free to come early for for fellowship with one another to learn about others in the body of Christ. Our prayer for one another as we enter corporate worship is to be empowered, through an Encounter with God to be a blessing! More about Vineyard Worship...

Children's Ministry

For our younger children we have a nursery (birth to 24 months), 2's - K class and the Kids' Connection (1st - 3rd grades) that are available when the corporate worship service begins at 10:00 AM.

After worship our older kids are released to Club 46 (4th - 6th grades). On the 1st and 5th Sundays of the month Club 46 kids are invited to attend the full corporate worship service with their parents.

Prophetic Words

  • A Dream of "THICK 30." The term reflects the thick presence of GOD. I saw planes flying and I knew that they represented people who were coming in and out being blessed by the presence of the Lord.
    • The Lord says I have called you to be a giant in the midst of nobody's.
    • I have called you to have a voice that will shower the Mercies of my great love down unto my bride.
    • It is time says the Lord to awaken from your sleep and let the Spirit move you into the destiny of your mission.
    • Your Mission will not tarry so do not tarry in coming into the THICK 30 - a time if intense Spirit preparation by intense manifestations of the illumination fof the presence and pwer of God Almighty.
  • A Word For You! "If you make the Most High your dwelling, even the Lord who is my refuge, then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent." Psalm 91:9-10.

The Month in Review

August 17 "Alignment Series II: Seek First"
The story of Abram opens with Abram anxious and worred about an economic problem. God appears to him and tells hime to not be afraid, but to trust God as his reward, a truth which has its counterpart in the Sermon on the Mount when Jesus says: "Seek first" the kingdom of God and all the things we are concerned about will be given to us. Never focus on the problem; focus on the Lord and the problem will come clear.

August 10 "Alignment Series: Separation"
Getting into right alignment with God changes everything. The first step to this process involves prompt obedience to His call to separate ourselves from our country, our people, and our father's household - all the ways these environments have wrongly shaped our identities. The result of this obedience and this separation is blessing!

August 3 "Communion Mysteries III: The Bread of Life"
John 6:48-69
Jesus described himself as the "bread of life." This means He is to be our staple, our basic nourishment. Instead of play the "if only" game (if only I had this, then I would be happy) we must see a relationship with Him as the only answer to the cravings of our hearts. He alone satisfies, and He alone nourishes us for life in this world, now, and for life in the world to come.

July 27 "Making Tomatoes"
1 Timothy 3:1-15
Paul identifies the Church as God's Household. Overseers and Deacons (leaders) must display several personal and domestic qualities. They must be respectable, not given to malicious talk and trustworthy. Parents give order and structure to their families as leaders give order and structure to the church.

Because We Value:

  • Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
  • God's Word in the Bible
  • Relationships

Homeless Outreach

We believe in treating the homeless with dignity and love, and in doing so, also honor the admonition Jesus gave His disciples: "Whatever you do to the least of these, you have done to me."
